We've had a great weekend at the annual National Specialty of the Retriever Club and the international dog shows in Talavera, which were held jointly this year.

At the all-breed show, Chester won back-to-back Best of Group, bringing his group wins to #22 and #23.

At the National Specialty, Lola won Best Female out of an incredible champion class and Best of Opposite Sex, reserve Best in Show.

Frenkie was awarded Best Junior Male and has now officially achieved the title of Junior Champion.

Scott took Best Veteran and went Best in Show Veteran.

Goodie won Best Baby and Reserve Best in Show Baby.

Her brother Thunder was awarded Best Baby Male and Best of Opposite Sex Baby behind his sister.

Laica was Best Intermediate Female & Reserve CAC Female.

Cheddar took 2nd place behind Goodie.

Lius won 2nd place behind Frenkie.

Ella was 2nd place in a large and competitive Junior Female class.

Beyond the results, what mattered most was being able to present our dogs, share time with fellow enthusiasts, and celebrate the breed together. We are incredibly proud of our dogs, inside and out.

A warm thank you to breed specialist S. Zubair for the evaluations, and congratulations to everyone who placed. We also extend our sincere appreciation to all participants and to the Club. Weekends like this are intense, rewarding, and above all, unforgettable.
