At Ria Vela, we responsibly breed with passion in Córdoba, Spain. With over 20 years of experience as Golden Retriever breeders, we strive to combine health, temperament, and exceptional beauty, having done so as the most awarded breeder in the history of the breed in Spain. 

We introduced American lines years ago, with the intention of improving the breed every day, always maintaining our ethical commitment to responsible breeding.

Each litter is raised in a family environment, with individual attention and the same care that has characterized us for decades. In our home, dogs are part of the family; we don't understand raising them any other way than with the utmost love and respect.

In every decision we make, the well-being of our Golden Retrievers is always our priority. When breeding a litter, aware of the responsibility involved, we dedicate all our knowledge, experience, and care to ensuring the best possible results in health, temperament, and beauty. Thanks to this dedication, our work with the breed is recognized worldwide, having exported our line to five continents, with over 350 beauty championship titles and recognition in the world of animal-assisted therapy.

We are the first Spanish breeders to have won the prestigious Crufts dog show, and to have bred over eight world and European champions. We couldn't be more proud of the journey we've taken with our dogs and of being able to share a piece of all that hard work with each new owner.
